NASA TV will provide live coverage of STS-117, Space Shuttle Atlantis' mission to the International Space Station, set to launch Friday, June 8, at 7:38 p.m. EDT.
In the 11-day online streaming event, Akamai will both serve the NASA Web site and support the Real, QuickTime and a portion of the Windows Media streams. Live streams will be provided throughout the mission, including the planned space-walks. Viewers have the option to watch both the Public NASA TV streams, and new for this launch, a separate channel with an audio feed directly from the Control Center.
