Akamai and Excite@home Form Strategic Alliance for Broadband Content Delivery
Specifically, Akamai will deploy its servers at multiple locations within Excite@Home's 15,000-mile network to increase the speed, performance and reliability of popular Akamaized content. In addition, Akamai's technology will integrate with Excite@Home's existing infrastructure to accelerate and optimize the broadband Internet experience with Akamai customers' broadband media.
