Akamai provides Internet content, streaming media and applications delivery services that transform the Internet from an inconsistent transport medium into a high-performing network. In addition to reselling Akamai's core Internet content delivery services: FreeFlowSM and FreeFlowSM Streaming services, Loudcloud intends to also resell Akamai's latest offering: EdgeScapeSM services (introduced today in a separate release by Akamai).

The Content Distribution Cloud service is the newest of the offerings in Loudcloud's suite of industry-leading Smart Cloud infrastructure services.
