New integrated offering to seamlessly enable high-quality streaming audio for Web conference users worldwide

Westminster, CO and Cambridge, MA -- December 5, 2000 -- Voyant Technologies, the leading provider of enhanced voice solutions, and Akamai Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM) the leading Content Delivery Service Provider (CDSP), today announced a collaboration to provide enhanced streaming capabilities for Web and voice conferencing solutions. Through the alliance, access to the Akamai Conference service will be integrated with Voyant's voice collaboration solutions, enabling organizations to efficiently leverage high-quality streaming audio for interactive, Web-based business communications.

The Akamai Conference service is a family of conference casting solutions that incorporates live audio and video streaming services and interactive components into traditional conference call offerings. Through an integrated offering, Voyant and Akamai will enable conference service providers to deliver fully automated Web conferencing capabilities that incorporate streaming audio for engaging end user experiences. In addition, organizations can extend the benefits of real-time Web conferencing through on-demand capabilities, archiving, recording and play back features.
