What you do with your summer can have a huge impact on what you do with your life. At Akamai we offer Internships that provide a lot more than passing exposure to the intricacies and challenges of today's Internet. Your skills and academic training will be tested daily, and your contribution will be valued and expected.

Summer internships typically run 10-12 weeks during the months of June, July, and August and successful summer interns often come back during the fall semester or over breaks as appropriate. A few summer interns have even gone on to become successful Akamai employees upon graduation and have become indispensable to the Akamai community.

During your summer internship you will have a chance to do the following things:

• Meet the CEO and Executive Team
• Attend weekly lunch sessions where members of many different teams speak about what they do and how their teams work together to help Akamai run
• Attend an off-site midpoint event that in the past have included a scavenger hunt around Boston, dinner at Dick's Last Resort and a Boston Duck Tour with lunch and an event at Tomb!
• Form intimate relationships with team members, mentors, managers, and other interns
• Attend a send-off BBQ with other interns, managers, and the Executive Team at the end of the summer
