Akamai’s Guiding Principles for Suppliers and Partners communicates our values and expectations, and emphasizes the importance of responsible workplace policies and practices that comply, at a minimum, with applicable laws and regulations. The principles reflect the values we uphold in our own policies, and we expect our suppliers and partners to follow the spirit and intent of these guiding principles to ensure respect for all human rights and the environment. We expect our suppliers and partners to comply with all laws and regulations as well as the specific guidelines related to these core principles.
Our Supplier Diversity Program seeks to identify and engage suppliers for a wide range of products and services compatible with Akamai’s current needs — from office supplies, to computer equipment and peripherals, to office equipment maintenance and repair, food service, and printing to name a few examples.
Akamai selects suppliers based on their ability to consistently deliver the best overall value in terms of high quality products, professional services, competitive pricing, and a proven track record for ongoing and proactive customer support.
