Mass High Tech, ACG Boston Names Akamai A Top Tech Dealmaker For 2007
Mass High Tech newspaper and the Association for Corporate Growth Boston (ACG) named Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) as the 2007 top Software/Services M&A Buy Side Dealmaker at the 2007 Tech Dealmaker Awards held on December 5 th as part of the ACG Boston Tech Conference. This is the first year for these awards that honor and recognize the most interesting, most complex and largest financial transactions involving New England-based high tech companies. Akamai and other winners are featured in the December 7 th Mass High Tech special supplement.

A panel of independent judges evaluated the most interesting life science and technology mergers and acquisition deals, initial public offerings and financial restructuring transactions from June 30, 2006 through June 30, 2007. To qualify for entry into the awards, at least one of the companies involved in the transaction must be New England- based and the deals must be at least $5 million in value.

The 2007 Tech Dealmaker Awards are part of the ACG Boston 2007 Tech Conference that took place at the Sheraton Boston on December 5th.
