Pamela J. Craig joined Akamai as a director in April 2011. She was the chief financial officer of Accenture, the global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, from October 2006 through June of 2013. As CFO, her responsibilities included the Corporate Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, Corporate Transaction Services, Client & Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, Finance Operations and Strategic Planning & Analysis functions. A member of Accenture’s global management, operating, executive and capital committees, her tenure at the company spanned more than three decades in auditing, consulting, line management, operations and finance. Institutional Investor named Ms. Craig among America’s Best CFOs in the Computer Services & IT Consulting category in 2012 and 2013.
Pam currently serves on the board of directors of retailer, Walmart Stores, Inc. and Merck & Co., Inc., a global Pharmaceutical company and she serves on the audit committees for both companies. She has been named a Senior Advisor for Teneo, a global advisory firm that partners exclusively with the CEOs and senior leaders of the world’s largest and most complex companies and organizations. Pam also serves as a director of charitable organizations. These include The Committee of 200, the membership organization of women entrepreneurs and corporate innovators. She chairs the board of Comprehensive Development, Inc., a non-profit that provides academic and social service support to at-risk New York City high school students.
Ms. Craig graduated from Smith College with a degree in Economics and she holds an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
