Our Tokyo Expansion core compute region is now available for all Akamai cloud computing customers, greatly expanding capacity, features, and scalability for all customers in the region. As we continue to expand our cloud products, ensuring we have capacity for customer growth continues to be a priority along with making newer, high-performance hardware and networking readily available to existing customers.
For both Akamai customers and partners, Japan continues to be a focal point for growth and new opportunities. In addition to our available core compute region in Osaka launched in late 2023, we have expanded capacity in our legacy Tokyo compute region to support long-term growth in both of Japan’s major metros for technology companies and startups.
